LAS VEGAS (August 24, 2017) - Held August 14-17, 2017 at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV, buyers attendance for Womenswear In Nevada tracked evenly with the Summer 16' edition. Drawing apparel retailers from 50 states and 29+ countries, the Summer 17' edition recorded notable increases from the east coast states, including Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Virginia.
“We were pleased with the feedback we received from our buyer and exhibitor customers alike,” said Lisa Glosson, vice president, Fashion | Gift| Souvenir, Urban Expositions, the show management company that purchased the show in 2015. “Exhibitors responded favorably to the quality of buyer they were seeing on the show floor and buyers seemed very pleased with the strong selection of all best-selling lines they know and love, as well as the number of new lines and introductions they saw this August."
The August edition welcomed more than 40 new, first-time exhibitors to its strong roster of nearly 500 exhibiting companies. Giving buyers a show floor filled with top name brands and up-and-coming innovators, the WWIN Show features more than 1,500+ lines– making WWIN the ideal place to see the newest introductions and breaking trends in every womenswear category.
"We love the WWIN Show,” says buyer Kakila Hunter, An Extra Touch, Newark, NJ. “We've been coming for a few years now because WWIN offers items at various price points and in all sizes, and that is very important to us."
New to the show floor this edition, the “Terrific Tuesday” promotion invited buyers to take advantage of exclusive specials offered on Tuesday, August15 only, ranging from show specials and shipping/merchandise discount, to booth giveaways/raffles, and more. This new promotion joined many of the show’s most popular features, including extended hours on Monday evening with wine and cheese, as well as complimentary breakfast and lunch served daily.
"This is my favorite show of all that I come to,” says Debby Sumerlin, Jewels by Jeanette, Kemah, TX. “We feel that the WWIN team goes out of its way for buyers by providing us with these amenities."
Exhibitor reports of steady order-writing and new business also added to the overall positive atmosphere on the show floor.
"I've been doing the show for more than 17 years and this has been my best show on record. I'm seeing serious, qualified buyers placing orders. I am also seeing a lot of repeat customers coming back to place larger orders,” says Sami Kanawati, SAGA Made In Italy.
"The WWIN Show is one of the best womenswear shows in the country,” adds Cindy Kenney, LA Blend. “Specialty stores are driven to the show and these are our main buyers. Many of these buyers only shop twice a year, and that is at both editions of the WWIN Show, so it is key that we are here."
"We've been doing the show for years and every time it feels like home when we come. Working with the show team feels like you're working with your family,” says Jullianne Campbell, VEOND.
The next edition of WWIN is scheduled for February 12-15, 2018 at the Rio Hotel & Casino. For more information on exhibiting or attending, visit www.wwinshow.com
